Community members are added to the email list and pay no annual membership fee. Community members are required to pay a small entry fee at all HYPE events. HYPE Insiders pay an annual fee of $150 that covers attendance to most of our events. Benefits include discounted prices to select Greater Houston Partnership events like State of the City with the Houston Mayor, State of Metro and more.

What sets HYPE apart from other young professional groups in the Houston area is our access to experts, data and other resources that come from the Greater Houston Partnership. The Partnership represents more than 1,100 member companies in the Houston region—from major energy companies and hospital systems to small businesses in many sectors. We bring you high-caliber programming and opportunities you won’t find anywhere else.

We offer two membership plans. A Community Membership plan which is free to all young professionals and a HYPE Insider plan which is an annual paid membership with extra benefits. To become an Insider: simply complete this Insider Form and submit to hype@houston.org. Once we receive your completed application and process your payment, you will get a membership letter and you will begin receiving invitations to upcoming events. HYPE Insiders enjoy complimentary entry to our events when they RSVP. Other benefits include discounted prices to select Greater Houston Partnership events like State of of City with the Houston Mayor. If you are not quite ready to become an Insider, you can still "join the community" for free and pay to attend events. HYPE is the group to connect with like-minded professionals in the Houston area. Everyone is welcome to join us at one of our many events throughout the year. The HYPE Insider opportunity is available young professionals and entrepreneurs in the Greater Houston area 21 – 40 years old striving to connect, inspire and thrive. HYPE Insiders receive unprecedented access to Houston’s top business leaders and innovators. Engagement opportunities range from leadership seminars to community volunteer opportunities and unique networking socials. Insiders also receive special discounts to select Partnership Signature Events, access to private social network pages for idea sharing and more.

Complimentary access to events available to HYPE Insiders who pre-register online. HYPE Insiders can register onsite at a discounted rate. If you are a community member, you must buy a ticket for each event you attend. Most HYPE events cost $20 to attend. Our entry fee allows us to continue to host the high quality events. Tickets are non-refundable.

No! A Greater Houston Partnership membership is not required. While you may see and meet many Partnership members, HYPE is a unique program that is open to both Partnership members and non-members.

As a HYPE Insider, you receive discounted registration to many Partnership events, including State of the City, Houston’s Global Economy and more.

Most HYPE participants are in the 23-35 age range, however events are open to anyone. The HYPE Insider opportunity is limited to young professionals and entrepreneurs in the Greater Houston area 21-40 years of age.
